Diana's Canyon, April 15

A Lawyer and an economist walk into a canyon...

Not really a joke, but sounds like a good start.

Here was a fun trip!

The last rappel, about 25 feet tall. Although the trickiest of them all!

A nice group photo mid way through the canyon.
The rappel that leads right onto the heart of the slot!

Overlooking the canyon towards Clear Creek Mountain.

East Quail Canyon

On March 29, we took a great family of four out on an awesome Half Day Canyoneering trip. The weather was excellent, we had 3 rappels, lots of down climbs, and here are some of our pics. These ones are worth 10,000 words!

Crawling through the "boulder cave".
At the end of the canyon, the family poses for one last picture before the exit hike through a seperate stream flowing canyon!
Dad makes the final rappel, and short, but stunning 20 foot drop, leading deeper into the canyon.
Stemming across a shallow pool of water. May as well keep the feet dry as long as possible...

Zion Peek-a-Boo 4x4 Tour

Today was an excellent day for a 4x4 drive out to Peek a Boo Canyon. Starting off in Hurricane, we rode up through Colorado City and Cane Beds past Coral Pink Sand Dunes. We all had a great time, and the trip was over all too soon! Here are our pics...

Rappel and Hike with Spencer and Felicia

Tuesday was a very fine day and we were lucky to take Spencer and Felicia out rappelling and on a short hike! Though Spencer had been rappelling before, Felicia had not. Turns out, she's a natural pro! Enjoy some pictures...

Rock Climbing at the Green Valley Gap

Today was an excellent day in St. George, Utah! The sky was mostly sunny, the high was in the 50's and low 60's, and there was only a slight breeze. Here are some great climbing pics we were able to snap!

Peek-a-Boo Canyon 4x4 Tour

On Wednesday, we took a group of Kanab's Red Hills Best Western out on the Peek a Boo 4x4 Tour. Although it was only about 26 degrees, everyone had a great time! Thank you so much Tracy, Steven, Marcene, and Brittany.

Peek-a-Boo Canyon

Red Canyon, aka Peek-a-boo Canyon, is a locals secret in the Kanab area. For us, its entails a beautiful 1 hour drive out, 1-2 hour visit hiking the slot in awe, and then another hour drive back to civilization. Today, we went out to see what the snow condition was, how much changed in the December floods, and as a good reason to get out of the office. Here are some pictures of the hike from today.
